Anita John is a poet and writer living in the Scottish Borders and is the 2017 Writer in Residence for RSPB Scotland Loch Leven. She was a Borders Showcase Poet in 2013 and won an Aesthetica Creative Award for her poetry in 2016. Her five minute theatre piece, “Yes, No, Don’t Know!” was included in BBC2’s TV documentary National Theatre of Scotland: A Dramatic Decade.
Anita enjoys performing her work and has read at many festivals including the Borders Book Festival, the Biggar Little Festival, the Edinburgh Book Fringe and the inaugural Stowe Spoken Word Festival.
